Abstract

The use of this shrimp pond water wheel has been widely used in shrimp ponds but many still use electricity generators (PLN). In general it should be remembered that poor water quality can lead to shrimp mortality and losses to farmers. Therefore in this final project will make a water wheel tool in shrimp ponds with the application of an IoT-based hybrid generator. Which is where this water wheel can help so that the shrimp do not die when the power source (PLN) dies. It can be seen that the methodology for making this tool uses a power source from solar panels, wind and batteries. In addition, this tool can monitor incoming current data from each generator. This test is carried out by testing the power of the incoming current to the waterwheel so that the waterwheel moves, where the results of testing the data flow can be seen on a smartphone and also on the LCD display. From the results of this calculation will be compared with the results of testing directly in the field. From the calculation data, the use of a water wheel with one battery is less efficient to turn on the water wheel for more than 1 hour.
