PERBANDINGAN ANALISIS ALIRAN PRODUK SPESIMEN UJI TARIK DAN UJI IMPAK MENGGUNAKAN SOFTWARE SOLIDWORK PLASTIC 2018 DAN AUTODESK INVENTOR 2020

The specimen is one of the tools intended for testing and research, both tensile and impact testing, in the mechanical laboratory of the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic has plastic molds for making specimen products using injection molding machines but the use of these molds is not optimal due to the non-existent process parameters , solidwork plastic software is needed to simulate plastic flow and analyze the process parameters in the mold and then compare it with the inventor's software. In solving this problem using data collection methods, making 3D models, making flow designs and layouts, determining process parameters, making flow simulations with Solidwork Plastic software, making mold fill analysis with Inventor software and comparing simulation results so that the problem solving is focused. The optimal process parameters have been obtained, such as fill time 6.49 s, melt temperature 230°C, mold temperature 40°C, injection pressure limit 26.574 Mpa and clamp force 8.79 tonne on type A polypropylene(PP) material. schulman/polyfort FIPP MKF 4025 has minimal shrink mark defects, which are 0.07 mm. There is a significant comparison from the results of the analysis using solidwork plastic software and software inventor (mold fill analysis), including mass with an average of 4.53 grams and defects such as weld lines.
