SIMULASI ALIRAN PADA CETAKAN INJEKSI PRODUK POT TANAMAN MENGGUNAKAN SOFTWARE SOLIDWORKS PLASTICS DAN AUTODESK INVENTOR
Keywords:
Plastic plant pot, injection molding, Runner systemAbstract
Plastic plant pots have the advantage of being lightweight, inexpensive, and the designs are very varied compared to plant pots made from other materials. The mechanical laboratory of the Bangka Belitung State Polytechnic of Manufacturing has plastic molds for plant pots using an injection molding machine but the use of these molds is not optimal due to the non-existent process parameters. and compare the simulation results with Autodesk Inventor software, then determine production costs. The research method used to complete the final assignment and the preparation of this paper is to make a flowchart also activities to be carried out as a guide in determining directed and controlled actions. The results of study, the best runner system is sprue gate because the weld lines are minimal than other runner systems with process parameters of clamp force 68.13 tons, injection pressur 69.72 MPa, filling time 2.70 seconds, pressure holding time 2.63 seconds, cooling time 8.78 seconds. Then the price for the plastic plant pot product is Rp. 12,500.
