The increasing consumption of water and electricity in households requires a system capable of monitoring usage and estimating costs in real-time. This study aims to design an Internet of Things (IoT)-based water and electricity consumption monitoring system using two ESP32 microcontrollers, a PZEM-004T sensor for measuring electrical parameters, a YF-S201 flow meter sensor for measuring water discharge and volume, and the Blynk application as a monitoring medium. Testing was carried out by comparing the sensor readings to reference measuring instruments and testing data transmission to the application. The test results showed that the PZEM-004T sensor had an average error of 2.68%, while the YF-S201 sensor had an average error of 1.03%. All electrical parameters, water usage, and cost estimates were successfully displayed in the Blynk application in real-time, and the system was able to control the electrical load and water flow according to predetermined usage limits. The results of the study indicate that the developed system can be used as a medium for monitoring and controlling water and electricity consumption to support more efficient energy use.
