Abstract

 Quail are a type of poultry with high economic value and growing market demand. In quail farming, the egg breeding and hatching process is a crucial stage, where stable temperature and humidity significantly influence hatching success rates. Natural hatching methods using broodstock often result in low success rates (around 41.67% - 63.89%) due to environmentally unstable conditions. Therefore, this final project aims to design and build a system for monitoring and controlling temperature and humidity in a quail egg incubator automatically and in real time.This system is designed using an Arduino Uno microcontroller as the main control center. DHT11 and DHT22 sensors are used to digitally measure temperature and humidity data inside the incubator.Through the implementation of this IoT-based automated system, environmental conditions inside the incubator can be maintained consistently and stably. This is expected to minimize the risk of embryo mortality due to temperature fluctuations, facilitate farmer monitoring, and significantly increase the efficiency and success rate of quail egg hatching.
