TRAINER KIT PEMBELAJARAN RANGKAIAN LISTRIK PORTABLE
Keywords:

Practicum is an important part of vocational learning to improve students' understanding of the concept of electrical circuits. However, the trainer kit used at the Electrical Engineering Laboratory of the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic still has limitations, such as the use of external power supplies and multimeters as well as components that are difficult to replace when damaged so that the practicum process becomes less practical and efficient. This research aims to design and develop the Portable Electrical Circuit Learning Kit Trainer as a more practical and easy-to-use learning medium. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D development model which includes the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. Data analysis was carried out descriptively based on the results of designing, manufacturing, and testing each practicum module. The results of the study showed that the trainer kit successfully integrated Ohm's Law, Kirchhoff's Law, series, parallel, combination, Superposition Theorem, Thevenin's Theorem, and Power Transfer modules in one portable device. Tests show the entire circuit and power supply system is working properly, although the LCD display feature has not worked optimally. Thus, the trainer kit developed is suitable for use as a learning medium for electrical circuit practicum because it is able to improve the practicality and efficiency of practicum implementation, and still has the potential to be perfected in future development.
