Abstract

Forging is the process of managing a metal by changing its shape in a hot state and then a Hammer use is carried out. From the video or observations that the author makes in the general public, he usually carries out the forging process by means of a manual system or doing forging using human labor itself. Machete Forging Machine With Hammer system is a type of hammer forging whose system drives it using an electric motor so that it can make it easier for the general public to produce a large number of products and speed up the time in a product manufacture The Verein Deutsche Ingenieuer (VDI 2222) design method is a method devised by the German union of engineers systematically towards the real condition factor approach of a process. The results of the design using the VDI 2222 method obtained a variant of concept 1 with the forging function using a cam system and transmission using a pulley-belt.
