RANCANGAN MESIN PENGOLAHAN TANAH UNTUK JENIS TANAH PODSOLIK MERAH KUNING

One of the secondary soil processing machines on the market is a cultivator machine. Cultivator machines are soil tillage machines with a type of soil tillage, namely rotary plows or soil loosening. The Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic Campus has one of the conventional cultivator machines branded firman ftl 900 h powered by a 7 hp motor and a type of J type rotary blade. Then the curved angular shape causes high tension on all parts of the blade when penetrating the hard ground surface and also the wheel mechanism works in one mechanism with the blade so that the movement of the machine only relies on the blade. The red and yellow podsolic soil in Bangka Belitung has a medium to strong character with flat reliefs with dense or mountainous clots. The existence of these problems prompted the author to develop a soil processing machine design for the type of red and yellow podsolic soil. The implementation method in this final project research uses a general research method that can be formulated into several stages, namely the design stage, the realization stage, and the final stage. The results obtained after designing the tillage machine on the cultivator machine are other types of blades, namely curved C-type blades, suspension wheel shifting systems using shock absorbers, and the addition of covers as additional protection for users. For the success of the design, proof is carried out through FEA (Fenite Analysis Element), namely material strength and safety factors with safe results.
